CHFC's Mission and Work

The Clean Hydrogen Future Coalition was formed to fill the need for a group focused on federal policy that represents the full range of hydrogen production methods from supply to end use. CHFC engages in coordinated advocacy and education to support policies that enable hydrogen to scale across the U.S. economy. The Coalition’s work includes:

Developing and communicating a clear, consistent message on the role of hydrogen in meeting decarbonization goals
Educating policymakers on the benefits and necessity of hydrogen solutions
Advancing policy and regulatory frameworks that support hydrogen production, transport, storage, and end uses through a fuel agnostic, technology neutral approach
Collaborating with environmental NGOs and key stakeholders to shape durable, comprehensive policy outcomes

Through this work, CHFC has established itself as a trusted, bipartisan voice on hydrogen policy in Washington.

Meet The Team

The Coalition is managed by VNF Solutions, which brings decades of experience forming and guiding multi-entity policy coalitions. As Coalition manager, VNF Solutions facilitates productive dialogue, helps identify shared priorities among diverse and sometimes competing members, and ensures CHFC remains effective, credible, and responsive in a fast-moving policy environment.

The CHFC team brings a wealth of policy experience to the table in both government service and private sector advocacy. What makes CHFC unique is that throughout the recent hydrogen policy developments its team has played a key role in advancing these policies, but from different perspectives. CHFC’s team is composed of recent Hill alum, who have been at the forefront of leading hydrogen efforts as both Committee and personal office staff, while we also have seasoned government affairs veterans with decades of effective lobbying expertise, and were key to getting these efforts enacted. The team is constantly engaged with both the Legislative and Executive Branches and is dedicated to supporting and advancing meaningful policies that ensure the success of the hydrogen industry.
